26 Best Wedding Venues in Omaha, Nebraska

January 31, 2021

Here is a curated guide of the top 26 best wedding venues in the Omaha area. This was so much fun to put together! Every wedding is our new favorite, there are SO MANY VENUES, and it’s seriously so hard to choose. But whether you’re dreaming of boho, rustic, modern, glam, classic, or eclectic vibes on your wedding day, we think this list has a perfect venue for you to say “I DO!” (and get beautiful photos in the process). So here we go, in no particular order, the best wedding venues in Omaha are:

Lauritzen Gardens

Lauritzen is classic and romantic, one of my favorite places in Omaha. There are so many gardens, the green house with a soaring ceiling, and so many beautiful areas for photos.

The Omar

The Omar has a nice big open room with natural brick walls that make for a beautiful backdrop in photos

The Cottonwood Hotel

The Cottonwood Hotel is gorgeous. IT IS SO PRETTY. CLASSIC. ELEGANT. SIMPLE. It’s like stepping into a time machine in all the best ways. The getting ready space. The ballroom. The location. Everything.

Christensen Family YMCA Camp

Ok, I’m sure you didn’t see this one coming. I know it’s unconventional, but this camp provided the most beautiful backdrop for this eclectic wedding (thanks to Andrea Zahourek at AZ+Co for bringing this to life). If you want your wedding to be unique, this location, with its big trees and lake backdrop, could be the spot. You could literally achieve any look you want. There are indoor and outdoor options.

A View West Shores

A View West Shores is one of the newest venues in Omaha and it offers gorgeous indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, along with it’s multiple reception spaces. And of course the lake view is a beautiful backdrop for photos!

Joslyn Art Museum

There are so many beautiful spots at this museum, and your wedding could be inside or outside! Inside, you’ll find one of the prettiest, naturally lit, large rooms in Omaha (it can fit 400 people). Plus the the garden is beautiful, the architecture makes for stunning lines, your guests can view artwork, and it is a killer location if you want to venture around the Old Market on your wedding day.

Livestock Exchange Ballrooms

I love the Livestock Exchange Ballrooms for their soaring ceilings and giant windows. There is so much natural light and the light walls make for a beautiful backdrop.

Sarpy County Fairgrounds

This venue isn’t for everyone, but it is SO PERFECT if you are a country couple and you want rustic vibes. Plus it’s dirt cheap, leaving tons of room in the budget for an amazing photographer 😉 and ALL THE FLORALS! We love how these two customized their wedding day and it was SUCH A COOL SPOT for a wedding!

Castle Unicorn

If you’re dreaming of a fairytale wedding, this place is PERFECT. It is so pretty! It’s literally a castle on a hill (or maybe mountain, seriously, it’s way up there)! There are so many beautiful spots in nature to shoot, and so many inside too! It can hold about 250 people.

Wishing Hills Barn

This place is gorgeous. The hanging lights. The chandelier. All the thought that went into the getting-ready room. Shooting this wedding there was a dream. This is one of the prettiest venue barns in the area! There are indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony and they can hold about 300 people!

The Empire Room

Modern. Clean. Elegant. We love this place and it looks pretty amazing during Christmas! It can hold about 350 people!

Bella Terre

This place is like a trip to Tuscany. It’s a beautiful venue set on the hills at a vineyard. This isn’t your clean, modern venue. It definitely has its own strong style going on, but we love it! So many beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces!

Vintage Ballroom

Right in the heart of the Old Market, this place is modern, industrial, and urban. We love the brick walls and wood floors. It’s smaller than some of the other venues on this list — holding about 180. But we kinda like that cozy feel!

Magnolia Hotel

We love this courtyard!! If you’re looking for an urban location that is stunning, private-feeling, but outside — THIS. It’s so pretty! We could shoot here every weekend and not be mad about it. If you’re getting married here, you an go ahead and inquire with us know!

Le Bouillon

This place has such a cool vibe. We are obsessed with the tile and white walls. And the location literally couldn’t be better. The heart of the Old Market.

One Thousand Dodge

The lighting in One Thousand Dodge is a vibe. So warm and romantic. Another urban option in an amazing location.

A View On State

This venue is super popular due to the large capacity it can hold! They can have 3 different weddings on the same date, or one GIANT one! It also has beautiful indoor and outdoor options with a covered outdoor ceremony spot! Stay tuned for their new location — A View West Shores.

The Palace Event Center

This place is straight up Fixer Upper-ish. It’s a white barn inside and out, surrounded by country on all sides. Every space is beautiful from getting ready all the way through the reception.

Bellevue Berry Farm

There are several different locations for a wedding here, and all are beautiful! Plus you can take photos all over the farm, which is a huge bonus. This wedding was in October and it was seriously stunning.

Falconwood Park

Ok, this place has so much potential!! It’s inexpensive, leaving you more money in your budget for florals. It has indoor and outdoor options. Glamping tents (not for everyone, but super cool). And long beautiful picnic tables (with the right event coordinator they could look *AMAZING*). Our favorite weddings are the ones where couples completely transform a space and make it their own. This would be an amazing spot to do it!

Omaha Marriott Downtown

This place is overall gorgeous. The rooms. The hallways. The stairs. The event room. Inside options only, but right in the Capitol District for convenience, and virtually no guest maximum. Love this place!

The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm

Nothing screams Nebraska wedding more than a red barn, and the inside of this thing is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. The wood ceiling is to die for and the getting ready rooms are decorated meticulously. You can’t take a bad photo in this place.

Willow Creek Glass Chapel

This place is a bit of a drive from Omaha, but close enough to count and worth the drive! The windows speak for themselves and there are so many beautiful spots for photos! They have the whole property filled with gardens.

Soaring Wings Vineyard

Good views. Covered outdoor patio. Wine. Do we need to say more? Get their info here!

Omaha Design Center

Beautiful. Huge. Stylish. Indoor options only, but they’re beautiful! And they escort you to the roof for photos if you ask!

The Fountains Ballroom

This venue is gorgeous. They have a huge double staircase. Vaulted, and I mean VAULTED, ceilings. And the ceremony spot is my favorite. It backs up to a little waterfall and is next to a lake. So pretty!

Those are our favorites right now, but our list is always changing! You can see a whoooooooole list here. And like we said above, our favorite weddings are when our couples choose an unconventional venue and make it their own!
